How to set-up
email with Outlook?
When configuring your new Larry Little Media
email account, please enter the following information within
your email program's setup as noted below:
Go to "tools" then "accounts" then
to add mail.
Incoming & Outgoing Mail Server
For your incoming & outgoing mail server (POP3) please enter the following
server address: mail.yourdomainname.com
User ID
Your new user ID will be your full email address with the "@" sign
replaced with an "&". For example, if your email
was jdoe@widgets.com, then your new user ID would be: jdoe&widgets.com
Simply replace the "@" in
your email address with an "&". This is for user
ID purposes only. Your actual email address will remain the same.
AN IMPORTANT NOTE:
To protect our email system against SPAM attacks, we require
that all emails be verified before being sent. You may be prompted
to enter your password before you will be able to send email.
When you are prompted please enter your normal email password.
For Outlook and Outlook Express users
please make sure that the "my server requires authentication" option
is checked within your outgoing mail server settings.
DIRECTIONS:
Under the "Tools" menu select "Accounts." Then
select the "Mail" tab, click on your account, and click "Properties." Click
on the "Servers" tab
and check the box "My server requires authentication" under
the heading "Outgoing
Mail Server." Click the "Settings" button. Select "Log
on using" and
enter your "Account Name" and "Password." Click "OK
and finally click "Close."
